RIP Zoe 1999-2017

Our sweet Zoe girl died this week.

It's been a sad week for many reasons, but this is the only one that is farm-related.

Zoe lived a full life, to the ripe old age of 18.

She died lying in the yard in the sun, with me stroking her soft fur.

She will be missed.

Zoe's Trip to the Vet

After getting beat up by the neighbor's cat, poor Miss Zoe had some really bad abscesses that had to be treated. A really deep one on her belly had already ruptured, but she had one on her back that the vet had to drain. She is such a sweet old girl, and is taking her antibiotics very well.
