County Fair Horse Show

Despite the near 100 degree temperatures, the kids had a great time at the county fair horse show. This was the boys' first horse show ever, and all the kids did really well.

We're certainly getting closer to having our sweet baby in our arms. Now, if we were just getting closer to agreeing on a name...

A Boy and His Tractor

Now 18 months old, Baby W loves to spend as much time outside as he can. He's always been a lover of the outdoors, but now he thinks he should be able to go outside whenever he wants and will try to open the front door. It's a good thing he hasn't figured out how to open it yet.

Baby W's First Camping Trip

Our first camping trip of the season was also Baby W's first camping trip ever. It would have been a fun time, but it had to be cut short due to an emergency at home. It turned out to be a blessing though, as it poured down rain the following morning and our tent doesn't have a rain fly.

Airing out the tent a couple of days prior to going to the lake. This is our old tent that we haven't used in years, so we were worried about spiders. Thankfully, there were none.

We camped at a state park just a few miles down the road from us. Our campsite was right on the lake. It was beautiful.

The View

Zanders New Rider

Finally having a good saddle that actually fits Zander, I had Oldest Daughter try him out the other day. It's been so long since I've ridden, and since I'm almost 26 weeks pregnant, I didn't want to risk it. Oldest Daughter is an excellent rider, so I knew she would be able to handle his goofiness.

I was so surprised at just how well they did together. He rarely even tried to test her, and she handled him very well. It was overall a great ride, especially since it was their first one together.

Blackberries!

We had no idea this was even here, but look at all the blackberries we have on this massive bush out by the milk barn! We made cobbler with this first batch, and hopefully we will have a lot more in the coming days!

Paradise Living for the Goats

Finally finished with the back pasture fencing, we released the goats to come and go as they please. They have so much yummy food to eat that its taken them a long time to explore very far into that pasture. They love it!

24 Weeks!

I'm 24 weeks along and doing great! Baby is healthy and moving around regularly. We have no name ideas yet, but hopefully will have some before he comes!
